270 Stainless Steel MAFFATT Top

Durable brushed stainless steel plate provides convenient spot to rest pans, tongs, etc. without worrying about scratching your smoker.  Rare Earth Magnets enable you to place and remove the stainless top, as you wish.  We nicknamed this the "MAFFATT Top" in honor of the 2 pitmasters who prompted this product.  Sean Moffatt (Red Valley BBQ) long wanted a topper for his smoker so he could easily warm bottles of sauce in the sun without worry of messing up his smoker. Eric Lambeth (Smoke and Brew Mafia) introduced us to rare earth magnets for securing the top.  So between the two, we now have the MAFFATT TOP.  Large, KC, and Memphis models have recessed area for the chimney; Sumo, Hollywood , and Standard are rectangular (positioned in front of the chimney).
