Our custom-made 3/16" stainless steel rod cooking grates provide a traditional grilling surface for the 270 GS. The cooking grates have integrated handles for easy lifting, however the grates can also be flipped (handle-side downward) if you prefer to grill on a continuous grilling surface. Two grates can rest side-by-side and are interchangeable from left to right. You can select these grates when you configure your 270 GS or order supplemental grates here. Photos below show the grates on the 270 GS as a set of 2 or in combination with the 270 GS Smoking Grate or GrillGrates.
