Gather with 270 Smokers family for a day of casual outdoor cooking & socializing, with ample opportunity to walk, hike, and play disc golf at our 45-acre rugged rural Virginia retreat near Lexington VA. Event is limited in size due to current social distancing requirements and thus priority will be given to owners of 270 smokers and grills as well as those intending to purchase a 270 at this event. Bring your cooking equipment, prep table, chairs, beverages, etc. We'll provide the core protein for the primary themed cooking challenge. Camp breakfast will be provided. Note: event may coincide with a charity cookoff, if so, all meat will be provided for the voluntary charity cookoff!

Dry-camping is welcome (you may arrive the evening before and/or stay the night of) in our pasture or just come and cook for the day. (No electric, water hookups, or sewer available for camping.) Porta John and handwashing station is available. Non-refundable registration fee covers basic event expenses, any overage or cancellations will be donated to our local food bank. Fee listed is per person. Note, reduced fee for teammates accompanying a competitor.
Environment is rugged, typical of rural pasture-land, located alongside a fast-running creek and wooded area, and you are at your own risk at all times regarding terrain and safety. Wildlife is common. Pets are welcome if leashed and attended. Disc golf course on premises. Small lake nearby for fishing and kayaking. Abundant nature trails in the area. "Leave No Footprint" (as in, leave the site as you originally found it) courtesy is appreciated.
Note: Participants must agree to maintain 6' minimum social distancing, wear masks when/if in close proximity of others, and frequently wash hands & sanitize surfaces IAW Virginia state mandate.
